On Monday, April 16, Leonard Zeskind spoke about the Fourteenth Amendment at a meeting of the Black Agenda group. He described the current attacks on birthright citizenship and considered racist police violence a violation of the amendment’s equal protection clause. The discussion was quite animated, and continued after the presentation for more than an hour. Zeskind was invited to speak by Ms. Khadijah Hardaway.

Chuck Tanner
Chuck Tanner is an Advisory Board member and researcher for the Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights. He lives in Washington State where he researches and works to counter white nationalism and the anti-Indian and other far right social movements.
