Shortly before the Iowa Republican Party Caucuses, both Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (the Tea Party Patriots Super PAC) and Tea Party Nation endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz for President.
It is unknown whether or not the endorsements were enough to push Cruz into the winning spot Monday night, but there are at least 4,462 hardcore Tea Party members in the State of Iowa, according to IREHR’s 2015 report on Tea Party membership.
