IREHR’s newest report, Breaching the Mainstream, and Executive Director, Devin Burghart, were featured on 12News in Arizona.

Brahm Resnik, a reporter with 12News, says “A new report by Devin Burghart’s Institute for Research and Education on Human Rights found more than one in five republican state legislators in the U.S. are connected with far-right groups”

Resnik was reporting on the censorship of Wendy Rogers after her controversial Telegram post regarding the Buffalo shooter.

“She was a prime example of the new challenge that we are seeing of the far-right moving from the margins into the mainstream” Said Burghart, referring to Wendy Rogers, “To see her come out and talk about the shooting in Buffalo as somehow being a conspiracy and regurgitating the rhetoric of white nationalism is a sign that we have a much much deeper problem than we thought of”
